The programme is aimed at providing graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience. Interns will be paid a monthly stipend.
About JOSHCO
The Johannesburg Social Housing Company SOC Limited (JOSHCO) mandate is to develop manage
affordable rental housing for the lower market as an integral part of efforts to eradicate the housing
backlog of the City of Johannesburg.
JOSHCO is a registered Social Housing Institution and is accredited by the Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA).

Job Requirements
Requirements, interested applicants must be in possession of:
- National Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or other related field.
- Routing & Switching Certification (Cisco, H3C, Huawei, etc) will be an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of networks, routing & switching, routing protocols, VPN
solutions, and high-availability network design and management - Knowledge of firewalls such as SOPHOS, H3C, Fortinet
- Understanding of VOIP
Additional requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be a resident within the City of Joburg (proof will be required)
- Must be between the ages 18-35 years
- Must be able to work extended hours as and when required
- Must not have participated on a similar programme
- Must be available immediately
